This is the newest mural at Edmonds Rona (7260 Edmonds st. Burnaby, BC)

This mural was painted to represent the annual Edmonds Street Santa Clause Parade (Nov. 28 1:00 pm).

Organized by Burnaby City Councilman Paul McDonell, the original art created by Barb Wood (2004) was modified to fit the 145 ft. wall of Rona Home Center.

Within a day of painting, the uniqueness of the Edmonds community was obvious. The cultural diversity  was incredible, with a community
cohesiveness that is truly amazing. People from all over the world passed by every day, stopping to talk and share the stories of their lives. Paul McDonell and I decided to represent this ethnic diversity by illustrating actual families of the community on the mural.
